Be notified about changes to your chart of accounts
At any given time, the notification count on the Data sources button in the top-right corner indicates the number of accounts needing to be mapped to your financial model, and can be thought of as a to-do list. You can either map or ignore accounts to bring the notification count down.
When refreshing your data sources, Francis automatically detects updates to your chart of accounts that require your attention, and notifies you about these changes. Updates include:
If entries are recorded on previously unused accounts
If new entries are recorded on ignored accounts
This ensures that your model is always 100% synchronized with your chart of accounts.
Smaller changes such as account renames are automatically updated without prompting a notification.
