Many companies using Francis have multiple entities or use dimensions in their accounting systems. In this section, we’ll guide you through setting up your data sources.
To set up your data sources, navigate to Settings > Integrations.
Here, you’ll find an overview of the five native accounting systems we connect to: Visma e-conomic, QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, and Microsoft Business Central. Click on the accounting system you wish to connect to, and note that you need to create a separate connection for each subsidiary.
If you have accounting systems that Francis does not support, there are two ways to import actuals:
Set up a Google Sheets connection to import trial balances from unsupported accounting systems. This method lets you leverage the user-friendly account mapper and currency conversion features.
Manually copy and paste actuals directly into the financial model.
If the base currencies of some of your accounting systems do not match your desired modeling and reporting currency, you can convert them during import.
