Francis has three date settings: the timeline, forecast start and last close
Understanding the different date settings is incredibly important for your modeling efforts, as date settings directly influence what data is exposed in your current model view. Being deliberate about your date settings when modeling will enable better future follow-ups and comparison options.
The timeline setting determines the months available in your current model view.
Forecast start determines the month you are currently forecasting from.
Last close specifies the months in which actuals from connected sources have been included.
